‘Poor doors’ to appear on ‘Blue Bloods’

Itā€™s an open-and-shut case.

NšŸ‘ew Yorkā€™s notorious ā€œpoor doorā€ is getting tā€he TV treatment ā€” Āappearing in a crime scene in an Āupcoming episode of the CBS police drama ā€œBlue Bloods.ā€

Extell and other developers are making headlines for building luxury towers with separate entrances for poorer, subsidized tenants. Now television is tackling the controversy.

CBź¦šS last week announced the ą²Œā€œPoor Doorā€ episode, where detectives played by Donnie Wahlberg (right) and Marisa Ramirez probe a murder.

ā€œDanny and Baez investigate a murder of a lower-income resident in a luxury building where 20 percent of the units are madeā™“ affordable for lower-income housing,ā€ CBS announced.

ā€œPoor doorsā€ are a result of a city program that pą²žermits developers to build bigger properties in exchange for providing on- or off-site affordable housing.

The show airs Feb. 6.
