Dubbed Amorphophallus Titanum, the corpse flower gets its nickname from its fleshy appearance and noxious odor, whic💞h is similar to rotting meat when in full bloom.
The unpredictable plant typically takes ab💜out seven to 10 years for it to gather the energy it needs to open up. The one that bloomed on Tuesday night needed 11, accordi𝕴ng to NYBG officials.
