But not all states are sponge-worthy, according to Match’s annual survey. The Kinsey Institute sexperts Dr. Helen Fisher and Dr. Justin R. Garcia participated in the quizzing of 5,000 people of “all ages, ethnicities, incomes and walks of life.”
The research considered the amount of casual dating that goes on in a given city, as well as how little or much sex locals are having, to rank American cities’ seasonal sex lives. Perhaps unsurprisingly, chilly Midwestern metros have Al Green on repeat.
Indianapolis, the cross roads of America, took the top spot as the city with the most temporary post-DST romances. Hi-ho hoosiers! Other cities where🍸 getting snowed in melts the ice: Denver, Chicago and Columbus, which took spots three, four and eight, respectively.
But while cold-weather states took many of the top spots, some top long-term hook⛎up destinationಌs are in temperate climes. For instance, San Diego was ranked No. 2.
Meanwhile, fiercely independent New Yorkers didn’t eveꦜn scrape the top 10.
