Member of Brazil delegation who met Trump has coronavirus

A top aide to the Brazilian president who came in contact with President Trump at M𒊎ar-a-Lago over the weekend t☂ested positive for the coronavirus, according to a report on Thursday.

Fábio Wajngarten, the communications se🅠cretary for President Jair Bolsonaro, wa𝓡s among a delegation of Brazilian government officials who met with Trump and dined with him at the resort last Saturday,

The White House said it is aware of the reports and is monitoring the situat💙ion closely.

“Exposures from the case are being assessed, which will dictate next steps,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement. “Both the President and Vice President had almost no interactions with the individual who tested positive and do not require being tested at this time.”

She said the White House Medical Unit and the Secret Service are working to keep the “First & Second Families, and all White House staff healthy.”

Grisham added that there is no need for Trump to 🎃𒁏get tested yet.

“To reiterate CDC guidelines, there is currently no indication to test patients without symptoms, and only people with prolonged close exposure to confirmed positive cases should self-quarantine,” she said.

W𝓰ajngarten, who posted photos of him with Trump on Instagram, came down with flu-like symptoms after returning to Brazil and was taken to a military hospital🌠 to be tested for the virus.

He is awaiting the res❀ults of a second test for confirmation.

Wajngarten was pictured on♑ social media posing along with Bolsonaro and Trump.

Bolsonaro is also being tested for the virus.
