FEDS DROP PHONE RAP FROM GOTTI INDICTMENT

Federal prosecutors yesterday dropped phone-card-scam charges from a massive racketeering indictment against John A. “Junior” Gotti.

But prosecutors said the action would have no effect on the remaining charges accusing Gottꦬi of running the Gambino crime family, extorting money from the topless clu💜b Scores, and robbing a drug dealer at gunpoint.

His trial is set to begin early next month.

Junior, who the feds say has been running his Dapper Dad’s mob interests while the elder Gotti serves a life term in prison, called yesterday’s action a victory.

“I was a victim. I lost a lot of money on that deal,” Junior told The Post in federal court in White Plains.

🐠 Gotti had been charged along with three others, including former Cy Young Award-winning pitcher Denny McLain, with selling bogus, prepaid phone cards that soaked consumers for millions🃏.

But that aspect of the case began to fall apart when federal investigators started looking into phone-card fraud allegations against at least one large telecommunications company – and it appeared that Junior himself may have been the victim of a ripoff.

The🀅 charges were not dropped against McLain and two othe𝓰rs.
