Heath Ledger’s dad says the late movie star’s 2-year- old daughter, Matilda Rose, and her mom, Michelle Williams, will be “taken care of.”
Kim Ledger made the statement yesterday as reports surfaced that “The Dark Knight” star had “omitted” them in a will written before they came into his life.
“Matilda is our absolute priority and Michelle is an integral part of our family,” Kim said.
“They will be taken care of and that’s how Heath would want it to be,” said his dad.
The will, written in 2003, surfaced last week at Manhattan Surrogate’s Court.
“It makes no sense that he would not leave anything for his daughter,” Michelle’s dad, Larry Williams, told The Post from his home in Sydney, Australia, when he heard of the will.
Meanwhile, Heath’s uncle, Hayden Ledger, said he was “concerned” about the distribution of funds for Matilda because of the way Kim handled Heath’s grandfather’s estate.
