John Stamos will produce and star in a new TV movie about the bizarre murders of millionaire brothers Andrew and Robert Kissel.
“Killing Mr. Kissel” will premier on cable’s Lifetime in November.
In 2006, Andrew Kissel (Stamos), who had defrauded a New York co-op board of millions, was just 46 when he was found savagely stabbed to death.
Kissel’s chauffeur, Carlos Trujillo, 47, and his cousin, Leonard Trujillo, 21, were charged in March in Kissel’s death.
In 2003, Robert Kissel was slain by his social-climber wife, Nancy, who gave him a spiked milkshake and then crushed his skull with a lead figurine in Hong Kong.
She’s now doing life in a Hong Kong prison.
“This story about one family’s quest for the American dream that spiraled out of control also reminds us to be careful what you wish for,” Lifetime exec Tanya Lopez said.
