A violent mugger whacked a man in the head and ironically asked if he was OK in Greenwich Village, police sources said yesterday.
At 2:55 a.m. Tuesday, the mugger approached the 26-year-old victim at West 4th and 11th streets and attacked him, the sources said.
The victim fell to the ground, and the crook repeatedly asked “are you OK?” while swiping a credit card and driver’s license.
The victim’s condition was not known.

A man who had gone behind a large rock in Central Park to relieve himself was slashed by a hulking thug, the victim and cops said.
Juan Cabrera, 31, told The Post he was urinating near the Bow Bridge at 74th Street at 10:10 p.m. Monday when a muscular, 6-foot-5 man came up and put a knife to his neck.
The thief snarled “give me your f- – -ing money” but Cabrera said he had none.
The mugger then slashed his neck and swiped his cellphone and bracelet, police said.
“I was so scared that I was bleeding. If [the knife] had gone deeper, he could have killed me,” Cabrera said.
A burglar swiped credit cards from an Upper East Side apartment and used them to make purchases at MTA MetroCard machines and a gas station, police sources said yesterday.

The burglar broke into the apartment on East 94th Street near Second Avenue at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, said the sources.
Tenants claimed that the superintendent for three weeks had failed to fix the building’s front-door lock.
The tenant, a 28-year-old man, discovered the theft that evening.

A homeless woman attacked a man with a cane in Kips Bay, police sources said yesterday.
The 29-year-old woman accosted the 36-year-old man on First Avenue and 27th Street at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.
She struck the man on his left cheek, causing a laceration.

A tenant awoke to find a burglar in his Flatiron District apartment, police sources said yesterday.
The 38-year-old man heard someone going through his possessions in his apartment on East 22nd Street near Fifth Avenue at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
He confronted the thief, who eluded the tenant’s grasp and fled down a fire escape.
Brooklyn
A 2-year-old boy who darted out into traffic last night was struck and injured, triggering a violent confrontation with the driver by an older relative of the child, authorities said.
The youngster ran into the street in front of 807 St. John’s Place in Crown Heights at 10:42 p.m.
The relative then got into a fight with the driver, drawing an angry crowd so large that cops had to call for reinforcements, a police source said.
The older youth was taken into custody. No charges were filed against the driver.
The child, who wasn’t identified, was taken to Kings County Hospital and was expected to recover from his injuries. The name of the older relative was not released.

A driver vying for a parking spot took things too far and struck a rival motorist with a hockey stick in Bensonhurst, authorities said yesterday.
Rafi Farham, 24, clashed with the male victim on Cropsey Avenue and 20th Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, cops said.
Farham allegedly grabbed the stick from his vehicle and struck the victim in the hip, back and arm, then fled.
Armed with a description of the suspect and his vehicle, police soon arrested Farham on assault charges.

A woman was arrested for assaulting and robbing a 73-year-old acquaintance in his East New York apartment, authorities said yesterday.
Kimberly Sanchez, 37, asked for money from the elderly man in his residence on Hendrix Street near Pitkin Avenue at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 3, cops said.
When he rebuffed her, she allegedly put him in a headlock, slapped him and stole his wallet containing $60 in cash and a $300 money order.
She was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault and menacing.
Queens
Two gunmen were busted after they fired into a crowd on a street in Far Rockaway, authorities said yesterday
Daeshawn Boyd, 19, and Christopher Crum, 23, approached the crowd of men, women and children on Redfern Avenue near Hassock Street at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, cops said.
They opened fire, but no one was hit, police said.
The suspects were captured Tuesday and charged with weapons possession and reckless endangerment, said a spokesman for DA Richard Brown.
