MEXICO CITY — The feds have started flying illegal migrants caught in the Arizona desert to Mexico City, rather than just across the border, to discourage repeat crossings.
Mexico’s Foreign Relations Department yesterday said the twice-daily flights out of Tucson began Friday as part of a voluntary repatriation program and are to run through Sept. 28.
