Five shot in B’klyn

Five people were shot last night — including one critically — in a pair of shootings in Brooklyn, authorities said.

The bullets began flying just after 10 p.m. at an outdoor basketball court near Bishop Loughlin High School on Clermont and Greene avenues in Fort Greene.

Four teens were shot, including a 19-year-old, who was hit in the hip and calf and two 17-year-old boys and an 18 year-old girl who suffered foot and ankle injuries.

All the victims were taken to Kings County Hospital and were expected to survive. It was not clear what sparked the violence.

About 30 minutes later, a 35-year-old man was discovered laying lifeless on Monitor Street, near Nassau Street, in Greenpoint after suffering a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
