TENNIS: Nadal romps
Rafael Nadal beat David Ferrer 6-2, 6-4 in their second all-Spanish final in two weeks to claim his sixth Barcelona Open title. It was Nadal’s 45th career ATP title.
* Julia Goerges upset top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki 7-6 (3), 6-3 in the final of the Porsche Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany. . . . Italy’s Alberta Brianti defeated seventh-seeded Simona Halep of Romania 6-4, 6-3 in the final of the Grand Prix SAR in Fez, Morocco.

Former Tampa Bay linebacker Alvin Keith McCants, 43, was jailed after being arrested on a cocaine possession charge in St. Petersburg, Fla.
NBA: Rose questionable
Bulls star Derrick Rose had a walking boot on his left foot yesterday after spraining his ankle in Saturday’s loss to the Pacers. The top-seeded Bulls lead the series 3-1 and hope to have him available for Game 5 tomorrow.
