WASHINGTON — Forty years after hitting front pages, the Pentagon Papers are to be released by the feds next month.
But wait — 11 words of the finally declassified history of the United States’ involvement in Vietnam will remain secret.
And all are on the same page of the 7,000-page tome, says the National Declassification Center.
Set for the week of June 13, the release comes 40 years after excerpts first appeared in The New York Times.
