Public records reveal new details about Vivienne Westwood’s purchase of 14 E. 55th St. from Starwood for its new US headquarters and flagship store. The deal was first r🍸eported in The Post’s “On the Money.”
While the design house plunked down $12.7 million to complete the deal last week, the buildi🥀ng’s air rights were retained by Starwood so as not to block the lot line windows of its St. Regis hotel next door.
The sales agreement gives Starwood a right🌠 of first refusal for a future resale and to partake in future upside should the town♌house be ground leased or resold.
Uber-broker Neil Sroka of his eponymous team at Douglas Elliman declined to comment.
