Couple gets mugged, goes to B’way show anyway

The show must go on.
An elderly man was mugged in broad daylight as he and his wife were headed to a Broadway matinee — but he didn’t let the incident spoil their day and continued on to the performance, authorities said.
The 75-year-old victim was walking down Seventh Avenue with his wife Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. when the thug came up from behind and pushed him to the ground, cops said.
The thief pinned the man against the wall of a building near West 50th Street and dug through his pockets, removing $300. The crook then handed the money to an accomplice and the duo fled west on West 51st Street, according to police.
The victim suffered bumps and bruises in the attack but was mostly unharmed. Determined not to let the traumatic incident ruin their afternoon, the couple continued on to the show as planned, cops said.
The assault happened just steps from the Winter Garden Theatre, homꦦe of the Broadway hit “Mamma Mia!” But authorities said they did not know which Broadway show the couple had tickets to see.

The show must go on.
