Dad stays mum on baby’s killer

Brooklyn prosecutors are hoping the stone-silent gangster dad of slain stroller tot Antiq Hennis will finally do the right thing and bear witness🗹 against his little boy’s shooters.

“He didn’t want to look at mug shots; he didn’t want to do anything,” a police source said of Anthony Hennis , 21, who has steadfastly refused to cooperate despite being the shooting’s intended target and prime witness.

“Basically he was telling the cops to ‘buzz off,’ ” the source said of the grieving but uncooperative dad.

“He was just silent,” the source said.

The reputed Cripps member ha🅰d been pushing the adorable 16-month-old boy in a stroller on a Brownsville sidewalk a week ago when two rival gangsters tri🎃ed to even a score, cops say.

Accused triggerman Daquan Breland, 23, opened fire on the father, but st🌳ruck the boy instead, according to a criminal complaint filed Saturday, as Breland was arraigned on murder and ordered held without bail.

The baby was cre♑mated and buried Saturday in St. John’s Cemetery🎶 in Queens.

“I will attempt to speak to the father and hopefully get a better reaction” than the cops did, senior Brooklyn homicide prosecutor Howard Jackson said after Breland’s arraignment.

“I do intend to speak to him, and I hope Mr. Hennis will speak to me.”

The dad’s testimony is important, cops said.

“We knew who did it” the day of the shooting, one law-enforcement source said.

“We had anonymous calls coming in telling us it was ‘Da Da,’ ” — the co-defendant’s nickname, the source said.

“But you still need the victim, in this case the intended victim, to cooperate. And we didn’t have that then and we don’t have that now.”

One eyewitness has confirmed Breland’s id▨entity in a lineup, the prosecutor said at his arraignment.

Breland had been hauled into court from Wilkes-Barre, Pa., where he and accused accomplice Daquan Wright, 19, were hiding out at a cousin’s apartment since the shooti🌜ng, police said.

Wright allegedly han🎐ded the gun to Breland just before the shooting, but is charged only with weapons possession.
