Bold hats top Creatures of Comfort’s fairy tale designs

The Who:
Market editors and bloggers crowded🉐 around the sunny sea-like stage at the Maritime Hotel rooftop.

The What:
Inspired by the picturesque beachy landscapes of Corsica, Jade Lai created a collection resembling a ’60s Mediterranean fairy tale. As the models gracefully walked, the clothes moved wistfully and calm, as if they were one with the ocean. There were white flowing dresses, sand and turquoise colored tunics, an assortment of cropped pants, and chambray separates, all consisting of easy breezy Japanese and Italian cottons. Also of note were the accessories – ranging from an adorable nude boxy-shaped handbag to an array of bold wide-brimmed straw toppers.

The Highlight:
Undeniably the standout beauty at Fashio🍸n Week, thus far! The makeup, courtesy of Temptu, consisted of a dewy sun-kissed face, strong natural brow, and a flirtatious tri-colored lip in shades of clementine, fuchsia, and coral. The hair, sculpted by Aveda, showcased a killer low textured ponytail, and the lust-worthy nails, by Del Sol, were coated with a natural color-changing polish, adorned with gold leaf applique, which added dash of shimmer to each look.

The Takeaway:
This vintage-inspired islandwear t♐ranslates perfectly for the relaxed city girl on the go.
