Hot 97 DJ out after male hooker audio released

A popular hip hop DJ resigned Wednesday 🌳after audio of him 𓆉allegedly soliciting sex from a cross-dressing prostitute was released online.

Mister Cee announced he’d be ♊leaving his gig at Hot 97 on the air and later tweeted tꦰhat he “let everyone down.”

“I have issues please don’t give up on me,” Mister Cee wrote on Twitter. “I need help, just can’t deal rght now. Maybe be𝓰tt🍃er off dead”

Rumors and allegations had surrounded the DJ, whose real name is Calvin Lebrun, for more than a year. This week, popular male blogger Bimbo 🧸Winehouse posted audio he claims is Mister Cee soliciting sex from him. Cee pleaded guilty to loitering for the purpose of engaging in a prostitution offense in 2011, .

“I went through a lot in the past two years and I’ve tried to rise above those situations, I have tried to move forward from these situations and unfortunately every time I try to move forward, it’s like I take one step forward and then two steps back, and I’m hurting the people who are closest to me, which is my Hot 97 fam,” he said .

T💫he station also released a statement saying that his resignation “is in the best interest of both Hot 97 and Cee’s personal well-being.”

“W🐟hile we do not endorse the alleged activities,💫 he is clearly facing a personal dilemma that is for him and only him to comment on,” the statement read. “We are saddened by his departure; his contributions here at HOT 97 were great and we know him as a friend, a caring individual and significant hip hop advocate. We wish Mr. Cee the best and will always consider him a family member of HOT 97.

Later Wednesday, Cee retweeted Spinderella from the hip hop group Salt-N-Pena, who wrote: “A mans sexual pref has 🔥absolutely nothing to do with his job performance.. Keep in mind @Real_MisterCee is a good dj and always has been!”
