Gunman started Navy Yard job last week

WASHINGTON –  Aaron Alexis, the man suspected of killing 12 people in a shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday only started working there last week, his employer told Reuters on Tuesday.

Alexis, 34, had worked for the same information technology firm, The Experts, at six or more U.S. military installations in July and August with no reported incidents or personal problems, Experts CEO Thomas Hoshko said in a telephone i⭕nterview.

Alexis had security cleara༺nce and a government contractor⛄ access card that allowed him access to the Navy Yard.

He worked on a contract to refresh i🔯nternal Navy and Marine computer systems around the world. He had finished wor🅺k for the company in Japan and was being reassigned to a new contract at the Navy Yard.

Two friend♌s told CNN that Ale♌xis was recently involved in a money dispute with the firm.
