Deputy Mayor Howard Wolfson lowered the boom Thursday on an Upper East Side lawmaker accused of sexual haraꦛssment — v🔯ia Twitter.
Wolfson put down Assemblyman Micah Kellner during a testy exchange about Taxi and 🐽Limousine Commission boss David Yassky.
Kellner — who lost a primary race for City Council earlier this months — drew Wolfson’s wrath after he applauded Democratic mayoral nominee Bill de Blasio’s pledge to replace Yassky as TLC chief.
“Amen!,” tweeted Kellner, a criti𒈔c of the taxi agency.
Wolfson, defending Yassky, responded; “Won’t you be looking for a new job soon?” — referring to Kellner’s primary loss.
“No I think you are confused — it’s you who is out of work at the end of the year. And🎃 amen to that!” came back Kellner.
Kellner💖 was referring to Wolfson leaving City Hall at the end of Mayor B🍸loomberg’s term.
Wolfson, clearly annoyed, th💎en dropped his Twitter bomb.
“Among the differences between you and Yassky is that he passed the vet [b♏ackground check] for commissioner. You wouldn’t,” the deputy mayor said.
But Kellner, who was accused of sending sexually suggestive messages to a female sta꧅ffer, gave as good as he got.
“Unlike you & Yassky I won’t sell out everything I claimed to believe in for Mike Bloomberg. Good luck as deputy💎 mayor of Bermuda,” Kellner said.
Asked to eleborate on the spat, Wolfson told The Post: “Simple: wasn’t going to let him get away with attacking the most innovative taxi commissioner in the city’s𝓡 history.”
Kellner declined further comment.
