Famed photographers David Bailey and Bruce Weber spent a day capturing the spirit and people of Harlem, New York armed with Nokia Lumia 1020 cell phones.

They snapped more than 1,000 frames, attempting to capture the neighborhood’s eclectic spirit.

The duo, lifelong friends, picked a sweltering weekend in July for this project. It was their first collaboration.

The two photographers visited the Apollo Theatre, the Westside Boxing Gym and several well-known eateries including Harlem Shake, Amy Ruth’s and Sister’s.
