When the “Iron Man 3” Blue-ray is released September 24, fans will get a chance to see “Agent Carter,” a one-shot drama that will likely be developed intoꦯ a televis🎃ion series.
Starring Hayley Atwell, who first played the character in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Agent Carter” picks up the story a year after the events of theꦆ 2011 film, with hero Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans, frozen in ice and his girlfriend, Carter, working as a secret agent.
The news comes just days before ABC premieres “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,” its first scripted TV series. With Marvel Entertainment ho🥃used at Disney, the potential series would likely wind up on ABC.
“Captain America; The🏅 Winter Soldier,” starring Evans and Emily VanCamp of “Revenge,” is scheduled for release next year.
