‘Queer Eye’ reunion

Five men who pioneered reality television are getingš’…Œ back together next month on Bravo.

The cast of ā€œQueer Eye For The Straight Guyā€ will sit down with ā€œWatch What Happensā€ host Andy Cohen for ā€œQueer Eye Reunion: 10 YearÜ«s Later.ā€

Debuting iš’†™n Jā™›uly 2003, the show introduced a quintet of catty makeover artists who saw it as their mission to help straight guys dress better, have something to talk about on a date, get their home decor beyond the man cave aesthetic and learn about fine dining. Carson Kressley handled the clothes (ā€œIā€™m doing the Lordā€™s work,ā€ he said famously), Thom Filicia took care of the pillows and duvet covers, Ted Allen picked out the wines and foie gras, Kyan Douglas was on grooming duty and Jai Rodriguez was a self-proclaimed ā€œculture vulture.ā€

ā€œQueer āœƒEyeā€ won a 2004 Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program and made the cast into minor celebrities.

Kressley appeared on ā€œDancing With The Starsā€ and produced a reality series called ā€œHow to Look Good Naked.ā€ Allen is host of the Food Networkā€™s competition show ā€œChoppedā€ and has been a judge on ā€œIron Chef Americaā€ and ā€œThe Next Food Network Star. ā€ Filicia has his own design business and is opening a new store in the Design and Decorators building, and Rodriguez has had some acting roles on series such as ā€œBonesā€ and ā€œHow I Met Your Mother.ā€ Douglas has appeared as fashion expert on Rachael Rayā€™s ABC morning shową¹„.
