A man was struck and🔯 killed by a downtown 1-train in Midtown today, an MTA spokesperson said.
The victim was at the West 50th Street and Broadway station when he was struck ju♔st before 3 p.m., it was not immediately clear how the man ended up on the tracks, officials said.
Southbound 1-trains will be running on the express track between 96th Street and Times Square and all northbound trains are bypassing 50th Street, the MTA said.
