A Brit was bashed over the head during a brutal attempted mugging i𓂃n Midtown over the weekend, law enforcement sources said.
Andrew Billington, 37, was walking near John Jay Criminal College and St. Luke’s Hospital on Wes🌜t 58th Street around 11 p.m., Saturday, when the suspect came up from behind aඣnd hit him on the head with a brick, sources added.
The victim, who now lives on the West Side, was on his way home from a concert at nearby Terminal 5, when knocked out and the suspect rifled through his pockets but found nothing wort🎶h taking, sources said. The💫 victim, an accountant for Thompson Reuters, was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The attacker is believed to be in his early 20s, about 6-feet-tall and about 16♎5 pounds, with a mustache. He was wearing a red hoodie, a blue jacket, black jeans, black and white sneakers and a baseball cap.
