’70s pop-culture icon Evel Knievel will be the subject of a documentary airing next month on Disඣcovery,
“True Evel” will tell the story of Knievel, the motorcycle daredevil who famously jumped the fountain at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and later triꦡed to rocket over the Snake River Canyon in Idaho (he failed, but lived to tell the tale).
The documen💟ta𓃲ry will air Oct. 14 and will use archival and interviews with friends and acquaintances — revealing a darker side to Knievel, who died penniless at the age of 69 in 2007.
