‘Michael J. Fox Show’ outmatched by CBS rival

Michael J. Fox’s p🌼rime-time return hit a speed bump Thursday night — and his💜 name is Robin Williams.

Williams’ CBS sitcom, “The Crazy Ones,” steamrolled “The Mi🌟chael J. Fox Show” in the head-to-head p𒈔remieres of both shows.

“The Crazy Ones” snared 15.6 million viewers at 9 p.m. — more-than-doubling the 7.2ౠ million viewers who tuned in to see Fox in his sitcom rꦑeturn on NBC.

“The Crazy Ones,” however, had a much stronger lead-in than “The Michael J. Fox Show” — back-to-back episodes of𒊎 “The Big Bang Theory,” TV’s top comedy꧒ which averaged 18.9 million viewers from 8 to 9 p.m.

By comparison, “The Michael J. Fox Show’s” lead-in was NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,,” which averaged only 3 million viewers

A second episode of Fox’s sitcom, which followed at 9:30 p.m., averaged 7.3 million viewers and was beaten — in both total viewers and adults 18-49 — by “Two and a Half Men” and “Gre🌱y’s Anatomy.”
