It’s Christopher Walken as you’ve never seen him.
On Wednesday, Neil Meron, one of the executive producers of NBC’s upcoming “Peter Pan Live,” tweeted a first-look photo of the Oscar-winning oddball as the notorious Captain Hook. He’s seen in full costume, including a resplendent red coat with a red-plumed black pirate’s hat, engaging in a bit of sword🥃 play with the musical’s star, Allison Williams, who is playing the boy who wouldn’t grow up.
“Peter Pan Live” will air Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. on NBC. The production is the second live musical for Meron and his producing partner Craig Zadan. Last winter, they did “The Sound of Music” with Carrie Underwood. The new “Peter Pan” co-stars Kelli O’Hara as Mrs. ♌Darling, Christian Borle in a dual role as George Darling and Smee, Taylor Lauderman as Wendy Darling and Alanna Saunders as Tiger Lily.
