Meet the ‘Top Model’ contestant who’s becoming a legitimate star

It’s no secret that contestants on “America’s Next Top Model” preꦏtty rarely become anything close to a top model. So perhaps that’s why Analeigh Tipton, the third-place finisher on the show’s 11th season, has turned her sights to acting — and shockingly, it’s working out. Really well.

Not only does Tipton star opposite Miles Teller in the new rom-com “Two Night Stand,” hitting theaters Friday, she’s also leading the new ABC comedy “Manhattan Love St𝓀ory” with Jake McDorman, premiering Tuesday🔴 at 8:30 p.m.

So how did a reality star become a genuine star? Here’s everything you need to know about Analeigh Tipto𓄧n.

Once upon a time, she was an ice skater.

And she wasn’t half bad! She laced up her first pair of skates at 2½ years old, became a regional champion and retired from competitions at the r🔯ipe old age of 16.

At 5-foot-9, she was really too tall to be skating . . .

“When I fell — and I fell a lot — I had a long way to fall!” , “My coach used to call me Bambi, because I have these long, clumsy limbs and big eyes, like Bambi.✃ My height added some grace into my skating — I wꦛas great at long lines — but for jumping and pairs it was quite difficult to manage.”

. . . so she moved on to a job that’s friendlier toward those with long legs . . .

Recruiters for “America’s Next Top Model” f🔴ound Tipto༺n through MySpace and cast her as one of the 14 contestants on the show’s 11th season.

. . . and she pretty much killed it.

Tipton made it all the way to the finale, wh🦩en she came in third behind a winner you’ve probably never heard of named MꦐcKey Sullivan.

Then she had an actual modeling career.

She signed with Ford Mod🅘els and did work for Seventeen, Maxim, Guess, Forever 21 and American Apparel.

But the screen was calling her name.

Her first acting gig was a guest spot on an episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” w🍒hich she followed up with a small part in the much-mali🥂gned “The Green Hornet.”

Her breakout moment came in a little movie called “Crazy, Stupid, Love.”

In the flick known best for Ryan Gosling’s abs, Tipton played a babysitter for Steve Carell. She was called a “face to watch” .

That meant the roles kept-a-comin’.

She’d next headline “Damsels In Distress,” enjoy an arc on HBO’s “Hung” and go full YA for last year’s zombie romance “Warm Bodies.”

But 2014 is her big year.

She appeared in two movies no one saw — “Buttwhistle” and “4 M🦩inute Mile” — but recovered 🐼with a small part as ScarJo’s pal in the summer smash, “Lucy.”

More specifically, September 2014 is her month.

In the New York 🍰Post’s review of “Two Night Stand,” film critic Sara Stewart says Tipton “has something of the young Meg Ryan about her — both in her vivaciousness and in her cartoonishly adorable features.” The jury’s still out on her foray into prime time with “Manhattan Love Story,” but based on this trailer, the future looks bright.
