The CW’s ‘Flash’ sets up love interest

Call it a “Flash” bulletin: the꧂re’s big news 🌄for The CW’s freshman series.

Not only has “The ꧃Flash” found a love interest for hero Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), but its premiere is now the most-watched series telecast in the network’s history.

The Oct. 7 premiere of “The Flash” averaged 6.8 million viewers with Live+7 da🌳ta factored in — adding 2 million viewers from its original telecast, according to Nielsen.

The second-mo♓st-watched series telecast in CW history is the Season 2 finale of “America’s Next Top Model,” which averaged 6.7 million viewers.

Meanwhile, former “The Vampire Diaries” co-star Malese Jow has been cast in the show aꦑs Linda Park, who meets “The Flash,” aka Barry Allen (Gustin), at a bar, where the two “hit it off,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. She will make her first appearance in the 12th episode of “The Flash.”

Jow, 23, starred in The CW’s short-lived “Star-Crossed” last season and played the te🐠enage vampire Anna on “The Vampire Dia𝓰ries.”
