Cops in ticket-fix scandal blast Lynch for lack of support

PBA boss Pat Lynch hasn’t done a thing to help out the 13 indic🦩ted cops facing trial in an🦩 alleged ticket-fixing scam, one of the charged officers complained after a Bronx court hearing Wednesday.

Joseph Anthony, a Bronx PBA trustee, said that out of the 800 people that “were somehow implicated in the ticket-fixing scandal, only uniꦆon reps were arrested. The others were dealt with departmentally.

Where’s Lyꦐnch in all of this? Does he see this as an attack on his union?”

Sources said Anthony has an interest in challenging Lynch for tꦐhe union’s 🅷top post.

Lynch was in court for the hearing — but kept his distance from the five defend🐼ants who appeared.

Later in the day, he sl♌ammed Anthony’s comments as📖 a “cheap shot.”

“This organization, and me as president, have been very vocal from the beginning on tꦚhis case,” said Lynch. “We’ve hired the best counsel for each 🍸of the wrongfully accused police officers, and we hired counsel for the overall issue as well.”
