A man was shot and killed i♛n the East Village on M🌱onday afternoon, authorities said.
The 33-year-old victim was shot inside of 20 Av♋enue D just after 4:30 ဣp.m., and was rushed to Beth Israel Hospital in traumatic arrest, where he was later pronounced dead, according to authorities.
“He was a nice guy. He cared about his kids. I think he had two (children),” said eyewitness Jonathan Caraballo, 22, who lives in the housing complex where the fatal shooting took place.
No arrests have been made, and pღolice did not immediately release any other details regarding the victim’s death.
Officials say his identity was s𓆉till pending family noti🦂fication as of Monday night.
