De Blasio vows to catch attempted-murder escapee

Mayor de Blasio vowed on Monday that an attempted-murder suspect who escaped from police custody ā›Žin Harź©µlem six days ago will be captured.

Career criminal Tareek Arnold, 23, ran away with his arms cuffed behind his back after shoving an officer as he was being walked to a patrol car outside the 32nd Precinct station house on West 135th SšŸ…ŗtreet on June 23.

ā€œI have been briefed on this several times and Iā€™m absolutely convinced that heā€™ll be found,ā€ deā€‰Blasio said. ā€œThey have a lot of information about this individual, and I donā€™t thinkļ·ŗ it will be much longer.ā€

Cops chased Arnold as he made a break for it, but eventually lost sight oāœƒf him.

Just before his escape, Arnold had been charged with shooting a foe on Seventh Avenue near tā™he corner of West 140th Street on June 8.

The viź¦“ctim was shot four times, but survived the attack.

Arnold has a lengthy rap sheet that includes six arrests prior to the ļ·½June 2šŸŒ¼3 bust.

Arnold was last seen wearing gray sneš“†‰akers, a white T-shirt, gray sweat pants, andšŸŒŒ a gray hooded sweat shirt. He has a tattoo that says ā€œTrollā€ and another that says ā€œMilitant Soldiers.ā€
