Shonda Rhimes doesn’t want you to work on the weekend

If you’ve ever watched “Grey’s Anatomy,” you know the long-running show’s trademark isn’t just hot do꧑ctors getting it on, but Mer𝕴edith Grey’s voice-over wryly detailing her feelings — so many feelings!

“Grey’s” creator Shonda Rhimes’ new book, “,” out Tuesday, is basically that voice-over. When💮 she felt stuck in her personal life, Rhimes accepted a dare to “say yes” to all the challenges she faced.

Now, Rhimes is sharing the wisdom she picked up during that journey. Here🅰 are a few of her tips.

Working moms, don’t fall for the guilt trip

“Being a mother isn’t a job,” Rhimes points out. “It’s who someone is.” She continues: “Working or staying home, one is🍒 still a mother. One is not better than the other.”

Cut the cord with your job

“Home by 6. No phones after 7. Try not to work weekends,” says Rhimes, who does just that and still manages to produce three a📖ward-winning TV shows — one of ♚which won an Emmy earlier this year.

Ladies, own your success!

“I strive for bad-assery,” Rhimes writes. And 💧that means not goꦆing all “Who, me?” when someone gives you a compliment. Enjoy your moment in the sun.

Say yes to saying no

Just because society says you should do something, such as get married, doesn’t mean it’s right for you. “The rule is: There a꧑re no rules,” Rhimes says.

Eat all you want — if you say yes to being fat

Rhimes did just that for years, until the day she couldn’t fasten her seatbelt o🍎n a plane. Then she went on a sensible diet that relied on portion control a༺nd exercise.
