Police shot a man reaching for a knife as they were serving a s💟earch warrant at his Brooklyn home Wednesday, officials said.
Kyron Cradle, 32, took a bullet to the leg when Emergency Service Unit cops stormed his Pine Street ba⛎sement apartment at 7:4😼0 a.m., police said.
Officers ordered Cradle not to move, but he ran deeper into the apartment and bega💖n reaching for a kitchen knife hidden under a bed, cops said.
One of the officers squeezed off a 🌺round, striking Cradle in the right leg. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
Police had obtai♏ned a warrant to search his home after receiving a tip that he had a gun, police sources said.
Cradlꦐe has been𒆙 arrested 11 times since 2001, mainly on drug raps . He also has several arrests on charges of possessing a loaded gun, assault and driving without a license, law-enforcement sources said.
