Homeless ex-school librarian found nearly decapitated: cops

A homeless former Bronx middle-school librarian wi𝓰th a da𒐪rk work past was found nearly decapitated Wednesday in an East Harlem shelter, and police are blaming his murder on a fugitive fellow vagrant.

Deven Black, 62, was found slash👍ed to death at the Boulevard Homeless Shelter, where he had been staying for only a day.

Police are seeking his roommate, Anth🅠ony White, 22.

The two had been arguing when White allegedly pulled a blade and slashed Black across the neck. Wh🃏ite then stabbed Black in the neck repeatedly until his head was nearly severed from his body and fled the building, police said.

The slash suspect has a le🌟ngthy psych history, including a 2013 stay at Brookdale Hospital for behaving in a manner harmful to himself and others, a law-enforcement sꦚource said.

Black had worked as a librarian at Castle Hill Middle Sch𒈔ool in The Bronx.

He was included in a June, 2014 story in The Post about how hard it is 🤡to fire tenured teachers.

Black received only a 30-day suspension for touching a 13-year-old girl and telling her she “looked sexy,” despite being warned agaiꦛnst making inappropriate comments to students.
