A man who was wearing an American flag bandanna when he slashed a 53-year-old woman in the neck in broad🦄 daylight in Brooklyn is under arrest in New Jersey, police said Sunday.
Gregory Alfred, 25, was picked up over the weekend by cops in Sayreville for the March 10 slashing in Ditmas Park, police said.
The woman’s neck was cut at 9:45 a.m. on Beverly Road between Argyle Road and Rugby Road, cop said.
The suspect discarded a large kitchen knife, black plastic bag and an Aꦍmerican flag bandanna after the attack. Cဣops were able to lift fingerprints from the items, the sources said.
Police will be🀅༺ going to New Jersey to pick up Alfred, an NYPD source said.
The 70 Precinct celebrated the arrest on its Twitter account Sunday morning, tweeting, “CAUGHT!!!! We can all rest easy. Gregory Alfred was apprehended for Beverly Rd slashing thanks to gr8 work by us and you.”
