AUGUSTA, Ga🎃. — Jordan Spieth insisted he’ll bounce back from his Masters final-round meltdown, and Las Vegas agrees.
Despite ♍blowing the chance to win his second consecutive Masters with that 12th-hole implosion at Augusta National, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has installed Spieth as the betting favorite at 7ꦡ-1 to win the US Open in June at Oakmont.
He is the defending champion, 🌌h💫aving won the US Open last June at Chambers Bay.
Spieth, who is ranked🌠 No. 1 in the world, is followed by Rory McIlroy and Jason Day (both 8-1).
Dustin Johnson, who finished runne💟r-up to Spieth at Chambers Bay, is 15-1, Rickie Fowler, Adam Scott and Justin Rose are 20-1. Masters champion Danny Willett, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson and Hideki Matsuyama are all 30-1.
Willett was a 150-1 long shot to win the Masters to start the year an🌱d entered the tournament at 50-1. The SuperBook took 62 bets on Willett to win the Masℱters, and William Hill’s Nevada sportsbook took a $100 bet on the Brit in February at 150-1 odds.
