A boom lift smashed into a building in lower Manhattan on Monday, sending pedestrians scattering but causing no injurieᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚs.
The crane-like vehicle smashed into a window of a🅺 building on Essex Street on ❀the Lower East Side at around 6:40 p.m., the FDNY said.
“There was glass smashing and a huge crash,” resident Ritc⭕hie Franco said.
Fire offic💖ials said the a♕ccident was due to a hydraulic failure.
