Trump blasts Obama for refusal to blame massacre on ‘radical Islam’

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump on Sunday laced into President Obama for not mentioning “radical Islam” in his address to the nation after the mass shooting in Orlando — a massacre the mog♋ul said was “only the beginning,” and the result of weak leadership.

“In his remarks today, President Obama disgracefulꦑly refused to even s👍ay the words ‘Radical Islam,’” the presumptive presidential G﷽OP nominee said in a statement. “ For that reason alone, he should step down. If Hillary Clinton, after this attack, still cannot say the two words ‘Radical Islam’ she should get out of this race for the Presidency.”

“If we do not get tough and smart real fast, we are not going to have a country anymore. Because our leaders are weak, I said this was going to happen – and it is only going to get worse. I am trying to save lives and prevent the next terrorist att𝔉ack. We can’t afford to be politically correct anymore,” he continued.

Trump, who has called for a ban on Muslims from entering the US and the destruction of ISIS, said all Americans need to be protected from “Radical Islamic Terrorism – which has no place in an open and tolerant society.”

He added: “Radical Islam advocates hate for women, gays, Jews, Christians and all Americans.”

And late Sunday afternoon : “What has happened in ꦏOrlando is just the beginning. Our leade🅰rship is weak and ineffective. I called it and asked for the ban. Must be tough.”

Clinton on Sunday called thꦕe shooting an “act of terror” and “also an act of hate” against the LGBT community during Pride Month. The presumptive Democratic nominee also urged more gun c🌠ontrol saying the massacre reminds “us once more that weapons of war have no place on our streets.”

Obama and Clinton postponed their first joint campaign appearance that was to 𓆉kick-of꧟f in Wisconsin on Wednesday “because of the tragic attack in Orlando,” Clinton’s campaign said.

Sen. Bernie Sanders called for an assault weapons ban. “We should not be selling autom💮atic weapons which are designed 🧜to kill people,” the Democratic presidential candidate told NBC’s “.”

Sen. Charles Schumer agreed. “We have to get tougher on guns. We can’t 🧔have incident after incident after incident after incident. And in this country it is so ꦛeasy for so many people to get these kinds of assault weapons whose only purpose is to shoot a whole lot of people.”
