‘Game of Thrones’ delayed because winter is literally not coming

Fans were beside themselves when producers admitted “Game of Thrones” would return a few months later than planned — and it’s all because of the weather.

♓Producers of the award-winning HBO sho🍌w pushed the premiere broadcast date back to the summer whereas previous series debuted in the spring.

And the reason for the delay is because the weather is too warm to film winter 💧scenes.

Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss said: “We don’t have an air date yet, but this year w💫ill probably be a little bit later.

“We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season, ‘Winter is here’ — and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes anymore.”

“So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so 🤡we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot.”

The next series, Season 7, will feature just seven episo🐓des instead of the usual 10.

“Bridget Jones” star Jim Broadbent has signed up to play a “significant” character in the upcoming series and Angela Lansbury is believed to be in talks for a cameo role.

It will also🎉 be the penultimate series: HBO’s Casey Bloys confirmed that Season 8 would be the very last.

Waiting an extra few months is going to be torture for “Game of Thrones” fans.HBO

Speaking at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Beverly Hills back in July, he wa♏s asked if he intended to go with Benioff and Weiss’ desire to end the award-winning drama after the eighth season.

, he said: “Yes, they have a ✃very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do.”

Bloys also commented on the possibility of a spinoff shoꦓw: “We’ve talked about it. It’s not something I’m opposed to but it has to make sense creatively. I’m not sure the guys can wrap their heads around it when they are about to start production.

“We’re open to it; the guys aren’t꧃ opposed to it, but ❀there’s no concrete plans right now.”

꧟On Sunday night, the cast and crew gathered in Los Angeles, where they saw the show make history at the annual Emmy Awards.

It took home 12 trophies — including Outstanding Drama Series — bringing its total Emmys tally to 38, the most o𝐆f any fictional TV series.
