A Manhattan legal recruite🧜r is going bonkers over 4,000 anonymous e-mails sent to 200 local lawyers labeling her “psyc🦹ho.”
The e-mails portray Eve Birnbaum as “power-crazed” and a “psycho sycophant,” she clai൩ms in court papers.
The messages themselves were blank, but came with subject lines that made it appear as if Birnbaum we🎃re sending the missives.
“I am not a Fraudster — Eve Birnbaum,” read one. Others said: “I am not a psycho gone girl Eve Birnbaum” or “I am not your very worst night🤪mare Eve Birnbaum,” according to a legal filing.
Birnbaum wants a judge to compel Google to unmask the sender, who used the e-mail address bestofny2017@gmail.com.
She “has spent seven years c𝓡ultivating her reputation at major New York law firms” but folks in those circles “have received hundreds of threatening, abusive and defamatory e-mails,” Birnbaum said.
A message to the Gmail account was not answered.
