Clinton Foundation’s deal with UBS doesn’t impress tax whistleblower

Whistleblower Bradley Birkenfeld, a former UBS private banker, is not impressed with 𓄧the Clinton Foundation. In his new book, “,” Birkenfelꦉd recalls how UBS had made relatively small donations to the global nonprofit up until 2008. Then things suddenly changed.

Prior to a 2009 deal that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton cut with her Swiss counterpart, 🍸Micheline Calmy-Rey, UBS had only contributed $60,000 to the foundation founded by President Bill Clinton.

Soon after, 🥃the money flowed from UBS to the Clinton Foundation — $600,000 in UBS gifts; a partnership in inner-city development programs. And then there was the biggest payday for Bill Clinton since leaving office — a speaking fee of $1.52 million for a series of fireside chats at UBS Wealth Management Americas.

“It was a whitewash, and a super-slick deal for UBS as well as the account holder🧜s,” writes Birkenf🐟eld.
