Missing autistic teen found unharmed in Midtown bar

An autistic teen reported missing in Yonkers Saturday was found unharmed several hours later — after helicopters 𓆏and K9 units searched for him — when he was spot🧜ted in a Manhattan bar on karaoke night.

Mel Harris, 15, was discovered around 11:30 p.m. after he walked into the Mean Fiddler in Midtown — 16 miles from where he was last seen — during the pub’s karaoke night. Officials were contacted after someone noticed the bespeckled teen amidst the bar crowd.

Harris was💮 taken to Bellevue Hospital and reunited with his family.

The teen was reporteꦺd missing by a family member around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, and was last seen on the South County Trailway, a bike path that runs some 14 miles through Westchester. Both K9 units and helicopters were used to search for the boy.

Cops think Harris boarded a Metro-North train and disemꦬbarked somewhere in Manhattan.

No criminality is suspected at this time.
