Trump considered Kushner for secretary of state

President Trump th♔ought son-in-law Jared Kushner was doing such a bang-up job as a senior adviser that he contemplated naming him secretary of🌼 state, the book “” claims.

Kushner, 36, was given🍰 a broad portfolio of responsibilities by Trump, including bringing peace to the Mideast, reforming the ꩵcriminal-justice system and solving the opioid crisis — despite his lack of political or policy experience.

In the book, author Michael Wolff writes that White House Chief of Staff John Kelly wanted to find a way to ease Kushner and his wife, first daughter Ivanka Tru🎐mp, out of the White House.

So he decided to broach the subjﷺect of Kushner and Ivanka with Trump, the book says.

“It was all intended to be a politic way🥃 of opening a discussion about getting them out,” 🌌Wolff wrote.

“But the president was, Kelly soon learned, delighted with all aspects of their performance in the West Wing. Maybe at some poi𒐪nt Jared would become secretary of state — that was the only change the president seemed to foresee.”
