A man took a Greyhound bus for a joyride in Midtown Manhattan on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
A dispatcher told PAPD cops the bus was stolen from the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 40th Street and Dyer Avenue around 1:30 p.m.
A short time later, a Greyhound employee flagged down officers to report seeing the stolen bus drive past them several blocks away at West 31st Street and 10th Avenue.
Port Authority Police Department officers swooped in and stopped the bus, arresting Charles Brown, 54, of Newark, officials said.
Charges against him were pending.
