Car crashes into White House security barriers

The Secret Service said a vehicle struck a securit🌠y barrier near the White House on Friday afternoon.

“An individual driving a passenger ꧃vehicle♈ struck a security barrier near the White House at 17th & E,” .

“No law enfor🔯cement personnel were injured during the incident involving a vehicle hitting a barrier near the White House,” the service added moments later.

Th𓆏ey said the driver, an unidentified female, was immediately apprehended and that no shots were fired.

Reporters on the scene provided few immediateꦍ details.

“A develop🎶ing situation at the White House. A car reportedly crashed through the security bar🍎riers,” , a reporter for the BBC.

“I’m locked in the White House press office. Secret Service has locked door🃏s and appears to be looking into a security issue,” added Noah Bierman of the Los Angeles Times, who later added in another tweet that the press had been allowed to leave.
