Drivers are mowing down traffic safety pylons

Drive﷽rs are knocking down new traffic-safety pylons like they are bowling pins.

🐷The city Department of Transportation had to replace some 2,500 of the posts last year at a cost of $261,000.

All ꦗbut one in a row of six plastic bollards installed at Third Avenue and 14th Street in Manhattan in early December were gone a month later. And two of the replacements were toppled within weeks.
