Suspected subway shover in ‘MAGA’ hat arrested

Cop have busted the “Make America Great Again” hat-wearing thug who allegedly shoved a Hispanic man onto the subway tracks at Union Square, police sources said.

Willie Ames was nabbed on Staten Island early Thursday, and is now awaiting charges at the 7th Precinct stationhouse on the Lower East Side, sourﷺces said.

Ames — who has several priors in New York, including for assault and drug possession — was wearing a redᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ hat and shirt bearing President Trump’s campaign slogan when he and another straphanger got into an argument aboard a northbound 4 train around 8:15 p.m. April 20.

“You f–king Mexicans,” Ames, 47, allegedly shouted at the 24-year-old victim. “You come here and you ta𝐆ke our jobs. You bring drugs.”

Both men got off the train at Union Square, where the bigot punched the victim several times in the head before shoving him onto the tracks and runꦬning off, cops said.

The vꦫictim was pulled to safety by a friend and a good Samaritan, and treat﷽ed for a cut on the head.
