Man loses bid to sue over ‘pink undies’ arrest

A New York City street performer failed to convince a Manhattan federal jury that the cop who n♛ow heads Mayꦿor de Blasio’s security detail wrongfully arrested him for riding his bike down a city street in pink underwear.

After a two-day civil trial, a Manhattan federal jury ruled that Inspector Howard Redmond did nothing wrong when he busted street pe𝔍rformer Kalan Sherrard and his pals in 201🐈2 near a planned demonstration to commemorate Occupy Wall Street.

Sherrard sued the city and Redmond in 2015, claiming that he was riding his bike lawfu𝐆lly — albeit, in bright pin🐲k undies — when he was pulled over, cuffed, thrown in a police van and taken into custody for close to 20 hours.

“He’s got a right to ride his bicycle on the street without getting arrested. He’s ꦆgot the 𒆙same civil liberties as anyone else,” lawyer Michael O’Neill told the jury.

Redmond also took the stand duri🍸ng the two-day civil trial and said🔥 the cops pulled the group over because they were “trying to slow down traffic” by riding in a “serpentine fashion” for several blocks.

Redmond also claimed that he never noticed that Sherrard was♏ wearing little more than a pair of colorful panties until after he was stopped.

“I didn’t💜 know he was wearing pink underwear until we pulled them over,” he told the jury.

“We disagree with the verdict but𒉰 we respect it and we are exploring out options,” O’Neill told T🥂he Post.
