Rabid fox on the loose after attacks in Westchester

A rabid fox is reportedly on the loose after attacking three people in Westchź¦°ester.

The fox bit a jā™’ogger in Yorktown on Saturday then bit another man in his backyard on Sąµ©unday before attacking woman, .

“I walked into the yard, started waving my hands to get it to leave, and it got it charging at me,” one of the victims, Kathy Coakley, told NBC News.

“It jumped up on me, it was on my arm, and I kind of pushed it away. Fell to the ground, but jumped right back. Kept coming at me.”

She added: “At one point, I had it pinned on the ground, tried to push it to the side. It tried to bite my hand at that point.”

The victims received anti-rabies injections. Residents were told to stay away from wild ā™šanimals that are ašŸ·cting strange.
